My cartridge is not installing

This problem is usually indicated on most printers when they display a blinking red light. To deal with this problem, switch-off the printer, remove and re-install the cartridge. Upon switching on, if the cartridge is still not installed, remove cartridge and check for any dust or dirt that may have been deposited on printer contact points or on the chip of the cartridge. If required you may clean the same gently, using a soft cloth. Take care not to damage the contact points on the printer or on the cartridge chip. Try installing again. If installation fails, cartridge will have to be replaced, as the chip on the cartridge may be defective.

Please refer to our replacement and return policy in such case.

Cartridge is not printing

Remove the cartridge. Check properly if all seals on the cartridge have been duly removed. Replace the cartridge in the printer and resume printing. If the cartridge still does not resume printing, cartridge may have been blocked because of dried ink.

In such case, you may get the cartridge replaced. Please refer to our replacement and return policy. For removing the clogged, dried ink, read instructions given below.

Place the clogged cartridge in about 1/4 - 1/2 inch of warm water for a few minutes. Immerse only the print head and not the air vent in the water. When ink starts to slowly leak out, take the cartridge out of the water and dry it using a soft tissue or cotton swab. Ensure the print head is dry before re-installing the cartridge. Then place it back in your printer and run the print head cleaning utility that comes with your printer software. You may have to run this 2-4 times before printing quality is re-established.

Cartridge is giving light prints

Remove the cartridge and shake it well. Re-install the cartridge. Run print head cleaning utility that comes with your printer software. You may have to run this 2-4 times before printing quality is re-established.

Sometimes good quality printing is established after printing 5-10 pages.

If the cartridge still doesn’t give good quality printouts you may get the same replaced. However, make sure of following:

• You’re using clean, dry paper. If the paper is damp, it will not print well.

• Check the ‘Print Quality’ setting on your printer -- you may accidentally have it set on ‘Draft’ or ‘Economy.’ Also make sure the printer settings are set for the type of paper or transparency that you’re using.

Paper still seems wet after printing

This is due to the fact that either you have printed on the wrong side of the paper (use the other side) or the settings in your printer driver on your computer are not set to the correct settings for the paper you are using.

Print quality is different on the other side of the paper

Although most of the papers can be printed onto bothsides, Inkjet paper has a special coating, which gives the best results. Not all paper is coated on both sides, and although you can print on the reverse, the quality will not be as good. If you want to print on both sides of the paper then use double-sided paper specially designed for Inkjet Printers.
